Prehistoric Magazine was started back in 2016 by Michael Esola. The magazine remains an indie publication to this day. Esola started the magazine as a way to chronicle the ancient past and the incredible and diverse species that lived millions of years ago yet for some reason or another remain obscure to this day. Apart from Prehistoric Magazine, Esola is also a novelist. He writes prehistoric thrillers, books with teeth, claws, and plenty of people getting eaten.
